This is a famous statue in Virginia Beach, VA and many people have photographed it... I'm sure. I wanted to find my own interpretation and story. I decided to take a negative shot and make the statue appear even more powerful and the people seem like little sea creatures. I really like the pop of the silhouette and the colors of the other forms in contrast.The beach is busy this time of year and we camped out right behind the statue. I figured it would be easy to spot and find in case anyone in our party were to get lost. If you go on a nice day, who knows... you may just find me there!
