Summer Sunflowers

I like how during the summer, cheery sunflowers pop up looking like their namesake. So bright and yellow... usually taller than me. This was taken at The Belmont Pumpkin Farm in Matthews County, VA during a trip I took there with my daughter's school. There were butterflies but they were just too fast for me to capture in a photograph.

Perhaps I'll venture out to the Rose Garden in Huntington Park in Newport News, VA. They should be in full bloom now.
